Long Island Waters

Long Island is one of the most densely populated and unique regions in the U.S. From the mouth of the Long Island Sound, to the barrier islands of its south shore, and extending east to the Atlantic Ocean, its waters thrive with abundant ecosystems above and below the surface — and the coastal communities working to protect them. I volunteer for several local organizations capturing imagery of their important work.
